​The Kitty Hawk air society is a nationally recognized AFJROTC honor society. To
be a part of the Kitty Hawk air society, cadets must be part of the AFJROTC program, and must maintain an
overall average of 85% or above, with 90% and above in all AFJROTC classes. The purpose of this society is to
encourage cadets to go to college and recognize the importance of education, accomplished through tutoring
and other community service events. Cadets who are active members of the society will receive a Kitty Hawk
Badge and a certificate to recognize their involvement and participation in the society.
